Obeying Thirst, and Font Trends

When I worked on these POS/POP (point-of-sale, point-of-purchase) pieces for The Coca-Cola Company they came out pretty neat. After they went into production opened a Communication Arts magazine and read an article about the top ten most overrated fonts used in design for that year. Of them, right at the top, Crackie and OCRA/B. Well. Guess what the two main heading fonts are on these designs? Right. Must have been channeling the collective conscience of designers around the world.
