Yet More Theatre Poster Artwork
Yes. More theatre posters from my portfolio of antiquity. The interesting thing about these is they’re almost 100% Adobe Illustrator based, done purely with the Wacom tablet and time, a lot of time.

Ray Bradbury The Traveler and The April Witch, two plays made out of two short stories. I was touched that he actually wrote me a note of thanks and appreciation, mentioning my take on the artwork was a new angle to his work he never thought of. I cherish his comment probably equally if not more than the one from Steven Sondheim that I did for "A Little Night Music."

I'm wearing my Giorgio de Chirico influences on my sleeve here, but with far more minimalism. My favorite part is the steam/smoke from the train, which I did on some 32 layers but the effect came out pretty stellar.

Probably second to my love of surrealism is deco, which shows a bit here. Also it shows I do have a weakness in illustrating humans as well, something I've been working on my whole life.

Measure for Measure. Speaking of illustrating people, the original illustration/painting I did for this was radically different, if I can find it in my archives I'll have to post it for comparison with the story of how this came to be.
