hotel’s continuum of public perception and retention of repeat guests
2010 June 7
(could I have made that subject line less sexy) As I check reservations for the hotel I’ll be staying at to give a talk this week at a conference, a graphic like this came to mind.

EDIT: Which didn’t work out so well for me. The Buffalo Hyatt didn’t have free WiFi like most places I stay. No free service most others provide = bad service = would not recommend Buffalo Hyatt = will not be staying at a Hyatt probably again unless required.
Not having free internet access is more common than I thought, unfortunately. And when they do charge it’s like $30+ for 3 days. That’s very close to my monthly access bill at home!!!
Oh, and nice graphic. I get hounded by email by most of them with special offers, some pretty good, some are like, how is this a deal?
I know I know… delayed reaction to your comment (wish I could turn commenting back on/make it more efficient, too much WordPress spam).
Had a great idea for a website a bit like TripAdvisor (where I did take the Hyatt to task) that would list hotels that had free WiFi OR at least ones where there was free WiFi nearby. Now if only I had more time to do this.
