Consulting, wireframes and concepts, advocation of web standards such as ADA (American Disabilities Act) and Section 508 (Federal and State policies on access), conversion of CMS (content management systems), templates, testing and deployments over a several-year period.
Direction of electronic campaigns, e-newsletters, invites, and other email-based marketing implementation and deployment, as well as assisting in committee-based decisions, reports, and training. Campaigns have included alumni, giving, Offices of the President, various administration, performing arts, and other schools and departments.
Direction for interactive presentations that included the college's Office of the President, giving, alumni, community development, schools and departments. Won Best in Category at the SUNY awards for electronic presentation "Wishing You a Joyful Year," an invite and web-based marketing initiative targeting alumni giving, considered a success by exceeding set goals.
Introduced and directed annual print and online publication, "Prospering Together," promoting the college's state, regional, and local impacts; from financial expenditures, employment, volunteerism, and other noteworthy items. Report used for leverage in deciders from government to community leaders, for recognition to raising money, helping secure position of the University's importance from state to local level.
Interpretation of data for visual online interactive presentations. Highlighting significant aspects of the University's position among higher education, furthering academic goal awareness, recruitment of talent, community outreach, and other uses.
Led marketing direction for collateral touting State University of New York at Oswego's new focus on global sciences, STEM and academic research. Project included all facets of the campaign launch from the initial committee meetings, interviewing faculty, culling information about current and future projects, then development of of the project based on current and future-needs.
Created marketing efforts for arts programming, resulting in increased scope, size, revenue, and audience participation year after year. Worked with ARTSwego, a part of SUNY, focusing on interdisciplinary projects such as arts across the curriculum initiatives, bridging science, humanities, business, and other colleges. Highlights being personal notes of appreciation from such names as composer Stephen Sondheim and writer Ray Bradbury.
Revamped campus-wide signage in various implementations, from digital in every building to physical pieces such as kiosks. Directed initial marketing launch, highlighting touchstone items such as academic achievements, global studies, athletics, school pride, campus and local community events, and other University-related happenings.
